What will your funds support?

The Fly California Passport Program is seeking supporters to help get the program into the air. By supporting the program, your funds help us cover stamps, ink, mail fees, outdoor boxes, website maintenance, insurance, rewards, etc.

Supporter funds are critical to the program as the ability to offer rewards to pilots who complete visiting regions is dependent upon supporters’ donations.

Being a supporter also gets you a free passport book!

Additional reasons to support the program

The Fly California Passport Program is a community-driven effort to offer a fun activity for pilots, other than flying for the $150 hamburger. Beyond the intent of providing a fun activity to aviation enthusiasts, the program is also meant to support the public-use airports across California.

Participants of the program, as they visit airports, will be buying fuel, renting vehicles, seeking lodging, providing “operations” (takeoffs and landings) to airports, visiting museums and restaurants, paying tie-down fees, getting aircraft maintenance, exploring business opportunities, and more.

These activities are meant to help keep our public use airports alive and help slow or prevent more airport closures across the state. Your support us make a program that is fun but has the benefit to protect and keep our aiprots open across the state.
